It is quite likely that even following a severe accident a child seat may appear visually undamaged, but it could well have undergone structural stress that would impair its efficiency in the future. Therefore, we do not recommend that any child car seat should be used again following an accident (excluding minor scrapes, parking speed, etc...). Child seat buckles Common problems with child seat buckles such as sticky buttons and the buckle not clicking, are usually caused by dust or dirt. If a problem does occur then please refer to the child car seat's user-guide which explains simple ways to resolve these problems.
